The Chi Hair Straightener: Information You Need to Know

With the newest trend in the way of hairstyles being the straight look, it is no wonder that many people are trading in their curling irons and picking up a hair straightener. The Chi Hair Straightener is one of the top hair straighteners on the market today but there is some important information that you need to know about the Chi Hair Straightener before run out and buy one.

The newest technology in the way of hair straighteners is the ceramic technology. Chi hair straighteners are from the Farouk family of flat irons and they are designed to flip, curl and straighten your hair using the ceramic technology. Ceramic hair straighteners are some of the best products on the market today but there are a few downsides to them that you should know about before you make your purchase.

Chi hair straighteners by Farouk use ceramic heat to straighten your hair, the neat thing about the new ceramic technology is that it evenly distributes the heat, so the user will be getting a perfectly straight hair. Chi hair straighteners also help to seal hair cuticles and keep humidity away which all prevents hair damage.

The ten foot cord that automatically comes with the Chi hair straightener is a fantastic addition for anyone who does not have a lot of electrical outlets in their homes and there is a 360 degree swivel connection which allows the user of a Chi hair straightener to not be stuck up in cords while straightening their hair.

Curly and coarse hair is some of the hardest hair for a hair straightener to get through and get perfectly straight, when you purchase a Chi hair straightener, there should be absolutely no problems going through any type of hair. Chi hair straighteners are known for their ability to get through any type of hair, it does not matter the texture of it.

The Chi hair straightener is also extremely light weight and appealing to the eye and they feature the newest technology in the way of hair straighteners: only the ceramic plates heat up, not the entire straightener. This technology is simply amazing due to the fact that most people are straightening their hair for a long length of time and with this technology, the user does not have to worry about burning their hands.

The Chi hair straightener is also one of the most versatile and can be used for all sorts of different hairstyles. Whether you are looking to completely straighten your curly locks or if you are looking to curl your straight tresses, the Chi hair straightener can assist in both instances.

One downside to the Chi hair straightener is if you are planning on going out of the country, a Chi hair straightener does not work with any converter. While you may love your Chi hair straightener, it is only for use in the United States and Canada, so be aware of that information before you purchase.

The Chi hair straightener is by far one of the best hair straighteners on the market today and while there may be one downside, the pros outweigh the cons.

I need information about hair straighteners and dual voltage (US to UK)?
I am visiting friends in London for my winter break and had been planning to buy an American hair straightener. However I am hesitant to do so because of travel and the fact that my parents live in continental Europe. I need to know if it is possible to buy a hair straightener that only needs an adapter and works successfully in either America & UK, America & Continental Europe or just UK & Continental Europe. All information appreciated esp. personal experience — as someone who travels a lot I try to avoid the appliance question at all times because have heard too many horror stories (fuses blown, etc). Ideally, would buy straightener that works (WELL) in all 3 of these places with only an adapter. Thanks for your time!!

I haven’t looked at straighteners but I know they make blow dryers with a switch on them for either 110V or 240V. For most choice, you probably need to go to a shop that specializes in beauty products.

i had all my appliances from the USA brought over when we moved to europe, unfortunately NONE of them work without a transformer (adapters are onlly good for NON heating stuff) if you run a heating product with an adapter it burns out ( i did it) its better if you get a cheap one when you get to UK as it will be cheaper than buying one home and having it burn out and then you end up having to buy when when you are in the UK anyway, thats 2 being bought anyway so just get 1 when you arrive

You might be best to leave them at home and purchase one at Boot’s, a drug store chain or Tesco a chain similar to Walmart, the cost if you buy an inexpensive one about 12 pounds, about $20 AM $.
