Best Hair Straighteners

Why Ghd Flat Iron?

UK by birth and presently very popular in salons across Europe, GHD flat irons is celebrating the best sellers in places like, South Africa, Australia and the US with various models and costing anything up to $230. There are several other good hair straighteners available in the market and the price of GHD hair straightener pushed in the direct competition with these good hair straighteners and also with hair straighteners that are found in cheap rate. Therefore many would like to know is the cost justifiable?

Retailing around $180 the GHD Mk3 flat iron remains a popular choice for many and this is because the price tag perfectly match up with the useful features associated with it. The presence of same size heaters and plates ensures an even distribution of heat. Most plates are heated with’s’ shaped heaters so that the plates can have cold spots. Another most amazing feature in GHD Mk3 is that the plates are not fixed like most, but ‘float’. Floating plates will help to adjust with the contour of your hair and maintain an even application of heat. But one bad feature that is reducing its demand is that the temperature is fixed at 370F that is badly compared with other hair straightener that allows you to control the temperature and is also available in lesser price.

Next the upgraded GHD Mk4 flat iron retailing for around $240 was released in the market that has ceramic heaters mounted on aluminum and this feature significantly reduces static electricity. Attention has been to the outer body also coating it with a fire retardant which will help to keep the body from getting too hot. It also has universal voltage so that you can use it anywhere around the globe and is also associated with a new feature called ’shiver’ mode that protects the ceramic plates from condensation that can cause damage to them if the room temperature falls below 5 degrees C. Offering DVD with GHD Mk4 hair straightener is highly useful for the users that enables them to learn how to use it and create various hairstyles. So here the cost is justifiable.

Looking at the cost it is expensive but it is justifiable as GHD Mk4 has been designed to professional standard and will surely work to your satisfaction. You can completely rely on it and it is simply the best money can buy. There are several forums and reviews online for you that will surely help you to get the answer to all your queries regarding each model and what features it has to offer and compare it to other brands to see if it’s worth buying. Never make any decision in haste and take time go through all the reviews and compare the prices and features and the benefits that you would be getting from this hair straightener before you finally go for it.

put a mirror on two facing walls, so when you look into one, you can see the back in the other

That is my problem too. I have really long hair, and its really hard for me to get the back. I always try, end up missing the back part. My hair always looks so much better when other people do it for me lol.

It’s pretty hard to get the back of your hair really straight. I also have really wavy/poofy hair. Sometimes I use a flat iron. You need to just kind of get used to moving the flat iron when not seeing it, without burning yourself. Make sure you’re straightening your hair in layers (pinning up the top and middle layers when you’re working on the bottom layer) and feel your way around. Use your dominant hand to hold the iron and your other hand to hold your hair. Hold your arms behind your head as if you’re going to lean back and relax, kind of like this (imagine the O is your head, and the <> as the angle of your arms) <o>. Pull out a small bit of hair with one hand, and gently bump your head with the iron (not with the heated part) so you know where it is. Take the iron and clamp it on the hair, and pull it over. Do that for the rest of your hair and the other layers.

    Hope this helps!
